Educational Kits available at UW-Parkside Library

Breakout.edu

• This kit includes a variety of different types of combination locks which allow educators to create games for specific content areas and used to reinforce skills and concepts being taught in everyday classroom instruction.

• They can be used to introduce a new unit or to wrap up and test comprehension at the end of a unit.

• They can even be used as team-building exercises for faculty and staff.

Google Cardboard

• Google Cardboard virtual reality viewers are used in conjunction with a smart phone and can help teachers take their students on virtual field trips.

Rockstar kit

• Includes various instruments for a variety of different ages to incorporate music, poetry, rhythm, and rhyme into the classroom.

Purple Microphone kit

• Lighting and green screen kit
• Can be used in the library's Purple Presentation Room (& many other places!)

Purple Room Microphone kit

• Wireless and USB microphones
• Can be used in the library's Purple Presentation Room (& many other places!)

Kit Checkout Policy

• Parkside students, faculty/staff and community members may checkout kits for 2 weeks (14 days) with two possible renewals.
• If kits are returned without pieces listed on the website and in the booklet that comes with the kit, the patron may be charged for replacement.
• Location: 2nd floor & front desk (Breakout.edu)
• Kits do not go out for ILL or Resource Sharing.
