Records Requests:
There is no fee for unsuccessful searches.
All fees will be billed after the materials are located, and the invoices will be sent separately from out Business Services department. Checks may be paid to UW-Parkside Archives & Area Research Center. Please do not send cash.
Research Requests: The cost of a research request is $8.00 per half hour, regardless of the results. Staff will work with the requester to determine the limits of time and cost.
Document of Authentication: The Archives can provide a signed and notarized statement that the document is a true copy of the documents in custody at the University of Wisconsin - Parkside. The fee for this service is $5.00.
Negative Search Letter: The Archives can provide a letter of negative search, that includes a notarized affirmation that the statements in the letter are true. The fee for this service is $5.00.
In addition to the Archives' University Collections, The Parkside Archives serves as one of thirteen
Wisconsin Area Research Centers which provide access to the holdings of the Wisconsin Historical
Society using a unique transfer system. Materials held by UW-Parkside, the Wisconsin
Historical Society, and other ARCs may be found by using the search box on the homepage.
Many of these collections may be temporarily transferred to UW-P for your local use.
UW-Parkside's Special Collections include a rich selection of artists' books, publications from noted small press publishers including Perishable Press, Mother Courage Press, and Black Sparrow Press, and monographs published in or about Racine and Kenosha.
