Washington Post Digital Subscription

Anyone with a valid UWP email address can sign up for free access to washingtonpost.com.

Register Your Free Account

1. Go to washingtonpost.com.

2. Click on Sign In in the upper right-hand corner.

3. Click on the Sign up link at the bottom to register a new account. Note: If you already have a Washington Post account with your UWP email address, skip to step 6.

4. Enter your UWP email address and choose a password. This is a password you create. It is not a password the library has available.

5. Click Create account.

6. Once you’re on the home page, click on your name in the upper right-hand corner. Click Account Settings in the menu. Make sure your email address is Verified; if not, click “Unverified” to get a verification email.

7. Click on the My subscriptions tab.

8. Click Activate free digital access.

9. Your subscription is now active and ready for use. You can navigate directly to washingtonpost.com from any web-enabled device and log in.
