Many community-based learning or community engagement journals are published through open access because they want to reach a broader audience than just academia, just as the actual practice of CBL does. Please see the PDF links below for guidance/suggestions on some CBL-oriented journals.

Lynda.com is an online resources FREE to all Parkside students, staff and faculty which includes technical and soft skills training videos and exercises. Several sections from the Information Literacy Course on Lynda.com are included here to encourage faculty to use these videos within their classes.

To access Lynda.com, go to Logins in the top left-hand corner of Parkside’s website and find Lynda.com in the list.

Classes include hard skills and soft skills such as information literacy and Microsoft Word. Other classes that may be useful to CBL courses include:
